Frida Kahlo (1907-1954), artiste mexicaine, a souffert toute sa vie. Atteinte de poliomyélite pendant son enfance, elle est ensuite victime, à 18 ans, d'un grave accident de bus dont elle sort brisée. Contrainte de rester souvent allongée, elle n'a jamais cessé de peindre ni d'aimer.
